Listen, I get it. I know what it’s like to be STRESSED about money. Here’s a secret - I wasn’t always on top of my finances. I didn’t know about how to file sales tax reports and my receipts were all stuffed into a giant manilla envelope. I had no process outside of a sad and sparsely updated excel spreadsheet that made no sense to my accountant. I was embarrassed. I looked like a successful independent creative but behind the scenes it was a mess.
It’s especially easy for creatives to fall into this trap - who has time to balance the books when you have products to create, orders to ship, and clients to email. And so you start to stress in January, procrastinate a bit in February, and panic in March…
But what if I told you it doesn’t have to be this way. What if you could outsource your struggles away and walk into your tax appointment (early) and with all of your documents in a tidy folder, with your tax appointment being quick and easy.

How we work
STEP 1: SET UP AND DIAGNOSE
If you’re just getting started, we’ll set up your Xero and Hubdoc accounts from scratch.
If you’re an established business, we’ll diagnose your existing books and determine the best plan of action to get your books caught up and accurate so we can move forward.
STEP 2: PUT PROCESSES INTO PLACE
If there is any catch up or clean up work to be done, we’ll start there.
Then, we’ll get a monthly process in place which involves importing transactions from your bank, categorizing and reconciling your books to match your bank statements.
We’ll pay your bills, reach out to clients that are late in paying you and help with anything else you need!
STEP 3: REVIEW FINANCIAL REPORTS FOR ACCURACY
Finally, at the end of the month we’ll pull your financial reports and review for accuracy.
You’ll be able to see your income, expenses and most importantly you’ll be able to see how profitable your business really is!
